A Wilcox County man has been charged with multiple offenses following an investigation into an alleged dogfighting operation in the Lower Peachtree community, according to the Wilcox County Sheriff ’s Office. Antonio Rico Rodgers, 48, was arrested after law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at his residence last week. Rodgers is charged with knowingly possessing a dog for use in an animal-fighting venture, a felony offense. He also faces firearms related charges, authorities said.
