Probate: The Inheritance Process (Part 1)
Show Notes

When a loved one dies and leaves a last will and testament, the probate process is a legal procedure for a judge to validate the will before any of the loved one's instructions can be carried out. But if a loved one dies without a will, the state where they lived dictates how their assets are distributed.

In this episode of the Legacy Purse, Leslie Sultan sits down with probate attorney Andrea M. Arrigo, and they discuss the probate process and important steps that must be taken for a will to be probated; the legal process for distributing a deceased person's property to their heirs and beneficiaries and settling any debts. This is part 1 of a 2 part episode.
