Scarcity is loud in this industry. You’re told that if someone else wins, you lose. If you rest, you fall behind. If you slow down, you’ll get swallowed up. But God’s economy is different—and for every christian realtor, that truth changes everything. In this episode of The Faithful Agent Podcast, Garrett Maroon challenges the scarcity spirit that drives fear, comparison, and overwork, and calls agents back to an abundance mindset rooted in faith.

This message is for the christian realtor who feels the pressure to hustle harder, guard opportunities, and measure success by what others are doing. Garrett exposes how scarcity thinking quietly shapes decisions, relationships, and even spiritual health. When fear becomes the driver, trust erodes and peace disappears. But when you build from God’s promises rather than industry pressure, your business becomes a reflection of faith, not fear.

Garrett reminds listeners that God’s provision is not limited by market conditions, competition, or visibility. There is more than enough. The call is not to protect your position, but to steward what God has entrusted to you. For the christian realtor, abundance is not a motivational phrase—it is a biblical conviction. When you live from abundance, you collaborate instead of compete, serve instead of scramble, and rest instead of react.

This episode invites a mindset shift—and a trust shift. Garrett unpacks how scarcity distorts priorities, fuels comparison, and keeps agents locked in the real estate grind. But when your foundation is faith, you can build with generosity, clarity, and confidence. This is the heart of a faith driven business: obedience over anxiety, stewardship over striving, and purpose over performance.

You’ll hear insight on:

  • Why scarcity is spiritual, not just strategic
  • How fear-based thinking creates burnout and isolation
  • Why God’s economy operates from abundance, not lack
  • How a christian realtor leads with trust instead of competition
  • Why rest is not falling behind—it’s walking in obedience
  • Why your security must be anchored in Christ, not market share

Garrett also speaks to the emotional cost of living in constant comparison. The belief that there isn’t enough—enough business, enough time, enough opportunity—keeps agents in survival mode. But Scripture tells a different story. God is not threatened by others’ success. And neither should you be. For the christian realtor, abundance means trusting that God’s plans for you are not limited by someone else’s wins.

If you’ve been feeling tense, competitive, or constantly “on edge,” this message will realign your heart. You don’t have to race for relevance. You don’t have to hoard opportunities. You don’t have to prove your worth through production. There is more than enough—because God is more than enough.

For every christian realtor who wants to build with peace, clarity, and purpose, this episode calls you to reject scarcity and step fully into the abundance God has promised.

Today I want to speak to the agent who constantly feels like there's never enough. Time leads money energy. Scarcity is a spirit and it's loud in this industry. You're told that if someone else wins you lose. If you rest you fall behind. If you slow down you'll get swallowed up. If you're not growing you're dying. But God's economy is different brothers and sisters. There is more than enough. You can live and build from a place of abundance not fear. but it takes a mindset shift and a trust shift. Because the truth is a fear driven business looks like hoarding leads, avoiding collaboration, avoiding sharing best practices, avoiding giving advice to that agent in your office. But fear causes isolation, control. It causes a refusal to rest and it shows up in subtle ways that steal your peace and your impact. The truth is generosity is the best growth. strategy. When you freely give your time, encouragement, referrals, even clients, God multiplies what's left because God's provision always meets His pace, not yours. The Lord is not in a rush. He's not behind. And when you align with Him, the pressure lifts, the peace rises. God's provision always meets His pace. We will reap what we sow and we will sow in His time. 2 Corinthians chapter 9 verses 8 says, God is able to bless you abundantly so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. Truthfully, I used to hoard leads, hoard energy, hoard ideas because I didn't trust that more was coming. I lived in a scarcity mindset. But when I began to give freely, my time, my knowledge, my opportunities, when I began to trust that the Lord is a Lord of abundance, that the Lord is going to provide more than I could ever possibly deserve, that He, as 2 Corinthians said, is able to bless me abundantly so that when I have all that I need, I can abound in every good work. So I started to give more freely time, knowledge, information, encouragement, and it started to come back tenfold. Here's what I want you to take away. You don't have to worry that if someone else wins around you, you're going to lose. That's not who the Lord is. If you feel like you're in that fear-driven place because maybe your business is not where you want it to be. If you feel like you can't give away your time or encourage a brother or sister in Christ in this business, then truthfully check your heart. Are you trusting that God's provision always comes in his perfect timing. If you want to build from abundance and not anxiety, check out more episodes on this podcast or schedule a call with me. Links are in the show notes. And I want to end with this question for you to chew on. Is fear or faith the louder voice in your business decisions right now? I love you. I will see you next time.
