I realized that even working part-time for the tutorial center here in Thailand that only I should be in charge of my finances. When you deal with people who aren't very empathetic, you're putting yourself in between a rock and a hard place, meaning with no opportunities.

When COVID took a strangehold of the world, I realized that my current job didn't give a damn about me or my finances, and they shouldn't. I should be in charge of ME.

So, in present day, I deny many classes because I put me and my future first, not other people's futures.
