Host: Dr. Gigi Louisa Johnson, Maremel Institute, Rethink Next, UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music

Dr. Gigi Johnson explores where belief, technology, education, creative work and social/community ecosystems are going in a digitally accelerated age. Through Maremel and Rethink Next, she creates transformative experiences with community partners about how creative work is changing.  In 2020, she launched the https://amplifymusic.org/ (Amplify Music) 25-hour virtual conference this past April with 30+ great partners and the new “https://maremel.com/creative-innovators-podcast (Creative Innovators with Gigi Johnson)” podcast. UCLA has been part of her home for 20 years, where she has taught undergraduates, MBAs, and executives about digital disruption in creative industries. She speaks around the world on digital transformations -- both of the past and in the extended future.  Before UCLA, she was a corporate banker financing media M&A at Bank of America for ten years.  She has her EdD in educational change from Fielding Graduate University, MBA from UCLA Anderson, and BA in film/TV production from USC.
