Moana 2 picks up three years after the events of the first film. Moana, now a respected leader and wayfinder, feels a yearning for new adventures and a deeper connection with the ocean. She embarks on a journey to explore the far reaches of Oceania, seeking out other islands and cultures connected to the sea.  Along the way, she reunites with Maui, the demigod, and assembles a new crew of brave wayfinders. They face treacherous waters, encounter mythical creatures, and confront Nalo's wrath in a thrilling race against time.
