Yavapai County Crowns Spelling Bee Champion

Twenty-four spellers qualified for this year’s county competition after winning their local school-based bees. The county event serves as a true “Tournament of Champions,” bringing together students from school districts, charter schools, private schools, and the homeschool community. Heritage Middle School 8th grader Rebecca Caulkins emerged as champion in Round 11 during the 80th annual Yavapai County Spelling Bee, held Saturday, February 7, at the Phillip England Performing Arts Center in Camp Verde.
