SPEAKER_00:

Welcome to Romanist Den.

SPEAKER_01:

We're your friendly neighborhood gypsies.

SPEAKER_00:

I'm Paulina.

SPEAKER_01:

And I'm Jez. And we are here with the tarot for the week of October 6th, 2025. Paulina, what is our fate this week?

SPEAKER_00:

I'm not gonna lie, it looks a little challenging out here. Sometimes it's that way. That's okay. All right, so for love, we got the five of cups. Womp womp. Yeah. Sometimes love is about letting go. And also it's about not dwelling on the past. So instead of looking at those cups that have spilled over, you know, like that is done and it served its purpose, and sometimes you don't need closure. But I also feel like it has to do with certain situations where maybe it's about because you do have the two filled cups, you know. So that does mean that there's something out there for you. So maybe it's like letting go of an ex, maybe it's like letting go of an ex-friend, um, and just like letting go in general and kind of letting things run its course. Like, don't fight what the universe is doing when it comes to moving on, you know, and a little bit of loss.

SPEAKER_01:

You make an excellent point, and I I think it's good for us to remind listeners of this from time to time. The love card doesn't just have to be romantic love, like you the way I have grieved over friendships that I've lost, like maybe more than I've ever grieved an ex. Right. Right. And so that's reasonable. That's love. I also really like to think of this card. I agree with you 100%. You know, it doesn't help to dwell on the past. And one of the ways to help you process things is to let yourself just feel whatever you're feeling. Sometimes the five of cups can be like encouragement to just feel the sorrow, like let it run through you, have your giant cry, like write in your journal, scream into a pillow, like whatever you need to do to let the emotions out. And that way they're not just lingering in you. Because you can be grateful and happy, and you can also be really sad and just like let the emotions flow. It might also be helpful for you to think about what is making you feel sad or uncomfortable because last week was a week of communication and love. Maybe you need to talk about the things that are hard as well to make a relationship healthy and share how you feel, even when it's not comfortable.

SPEAKER_00:

100%.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

So when it comes to money, we get the judgment card. So this is also challenging. The way I see the judgment card in money is in so many different ways. For one, I feel like it's about how you are judging others, but also how you are judging yourself too. And how you've how other people are actually judging you. And when it comes to money, when it comes to career, I think there's a lot of weird things that happen every day just in the work world and in the workforce, and a lot of weird little relationship or microaggressions, or sometimes not micro.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, sometimes macro aggressions.

SPEAKER_00:

So there may be some challenges that come up, I believe, when it comes to you know, money and things like that. I also do view the judgment card as a little bit of a a legal matter, potentially, or maybe not like all the way legal, but like contracts, paperwork, like there might be some bigger things happening, and you kind of have to figure out who's with you, who's not, what are you gonna do. Um, but that's what I feel like it is. What about you?

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I think all of that is true. And to uh uh lean into the ray of sunshine aspect of this card, sometimes this can tell you that you've been doing that work of being aware of how you think about yourself and understanding that sometimes what people think of you is none of your business, and you're actually rising up into a new, more authentic cycle or like the next phase of your life. And it feels almost like you've been reborn. And so if you've been putting a lot of energy into getting your money right, getting your work right, thinking about your career, you might have left behind, you know, the old and stepping into new opportunities, like risen up. Because a lot of times the imagery in this card is people uh rising up out of their graves and the angel playing the trumpet. And you might feel like that a little bit if you have been putting that work in. It's a good time to know that you're ready for something better. And if this card is telling you to do the work, then you know you're looking forward to rising up into that next better cycle that feels truer to you.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, for sure.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

So now this one's a little rough too, guys. We get the fool when it comes to guidance.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00:

So um you gotta grow up, man. No, I'm just kidding. I feel like it. I feel like when I think of the fool, it's about finding the balance between like going too hard, having too much fun, foolishly falling in love, foolishly doing this, you know, foolishly being foolish. But then I also feel like it's also about being able to kind of conjure that childlike curiosity and that, you know, just that childlike mindset in general, like exploration and wonder and like creativity. Um, but you can't really fall too much in one direction or the other. Like, don't be super super tight, don't be super loose, like just find like a nice middle ground where you can relax and still be responsible.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I love how philosophical the fool can be because there is something wise about understanding that we're always diving into the unknown. Like uh we're still writing our lives. Sometimes we do have to have faith and surrender. And there's something very silly about not having that awareness and just like plowing through life. And so it's like it's kind of two sides of one coin where you might find it really helpful this week to just accept that you sort of have to leap and the net will appear. But that doesn't mean that you're keeping your eyes closed when you jump, you know, like you still have to have a certain kind of awareness, even when you don't know what's going on around you.

SPEAKER_00:

You gotta keep those eyes on.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. And I do love the playfulness and like open-heartedness of the fool. Sometimes the fool reminds me of the Buddhist concept beginner's mind, where it's like you, if you just accept that you know nothing, you are learning everything all the time. And that's a good mindset to have this week. Like just don't assume anything, just have your eyes open, your heart open, and be ready to learn and take it all in like you're a newborn baby.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, I like that. Always taking that advice.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, learning every day.

SPEAKER_00:

Well, thank you everyone for listening. And we wish you good luck in this challenging week.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes, we believe you can rise to meet the challenge. Maybe Angel trumpet for you or something. Have a good week, y'all.

SPEAKER_00:

Bye. Bye.
