SPEAKER_00:We're your friendly neighborhood gypsies. I'm Paulina. And I'm Jez. And we have your guidance for the week of October 27th, 2025, peak spooky season. And we have Love Money Guidance Tarot for you.
SPEAKER_01:Yay! So for love, we have the Queen of Cups.
SPEAKER_00:Which I just adore. Like I love the Queen of Cups for Love right now. She's so like watery and magical and emotive. And like this is such a good time to talk about your feelings and maybe even sort of lean into a little bit of the magic of the season, maybe get like a little spooky with love. Hold hands and read tarot for each other or something. But really, this is such a wonderful time to be creative and expressive and just like really present. And this can be, you know, if you're have if you have romantic endeavors this week, this is um such a good time for you to speak your feelings. But um, you know, even if you're just feeling like you want to hang out with friends, you want to keep it simple, like this is such a wonderful time for you to do a lovely ritual bath for yourself with rose petals, or you know, go on some kind of spooky adventure with friends and like scream in a haunted house and get your adrenaline up and then talk about your feelings. Like this is like just a lovely warm time. What do you think, Paulina?
SPEAKER_01:I feel like totally agree with that. And I feel like the Queen of Cups is telling us for one, when it comes to love, when it comes to relationships, like cups are you know, water element, flowy, going with the flow, you know, kind of letting the universe guide you, but also you are a queen, and so you're leading with emotional intelligence and maturity, like you know how how this goes, you've been down the ropes before. So trust yourself, you know, let yourself be okay, guide yourself. Like, I don't think I mean being cautious, of course, always be cautious, but at the same time, like don't think to yourself, like, oh, like I have to hold back because I might feel this or that. Like, just your very thought of awareness is keeping you where you need to be. So trust in yourself, and that will make you succeed, I guess, in this love endeavor. You know, I love the cups, their overflow of energy and celebration. So I like it.
SPEAKER_00:That is such good advice. Like trust yourself, like, trust your heart. If you're feeling moved to be open, like just your awareness is enough to you know keep you keep you responsible.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, exactly. Don't get married like tomorrow, you know what I mean? Or if you're married, I don't know, don't divorce.
SPEAKER_00:I don't know, do what you want. Just talk about your feelings. So it needs to be said. So we have the moon for money, which is kind of a strange one. I I feel like this is such a good time to be honest with yourself about your finances and not live in fantasy. And also, if you have a lot of fear around money, this is a good time to look into where that comes from. Like, is it ancestral or intergenerational? Is it rooted in trauma? Is it rooted in like a lack of understanding of money? And there's fear around that. Because the moon is all about the deep subconscious. And so livelihood and money are so interwoven, and that is very connected to our sense of like survival and safety. So this is a good time to maybe do some deep digging around your emotional uh connection to money and work and see what needs to be unearthed and understood. What do you think?
SPEAKER_01:For sure. I think finding what guides you for sure. When I think about the moon, I also think of like identity crisis, not knowing, yeah, like not knowing where to look, not knowing where to go, not even knowing what feels good or satisfying to your own self. So maybe testing out the waters, especially when it comes to money. Like, you don't have to say, like, oh, I'm gonna spend my whole life savings on this one business idea because I know that it's gonna be good. Like, test it out a little bit, give things a trial run. Try this new job. You don't have to commit the rest of your life to it. You know, maybe go back to school. Like, I think you have to explore these other options that really go and dive deep into your identity in order for you to get the real guidance that you need from the moon card when it comes to money in general. Like, dig deeper. Um, and that's kind of how I feel about it. But yeah, like things are not always as as they seem.
SPEAKER_00:That's such good advice. Yeah, I mean, I think it's so smart to think about it in terms of your career path too. Like there might be some conscious yearning about where to go, but you want to temper it with good decisions, and the the moon is changeable too. Like you might be in a season right now, so you know, buckle up and just observe and see how things play out as you're being more attentive to yourself and your feelings.
SPEAKER_01:Overall guidance, we get the two of cups, which is so interesting. What do you yeah?
SPEAKER_00:I mean, it just it's so like love is the answer kind of energy, and it makes sense with these two cards as well. Like what you were saying about the moon also made me think about how this might be a time where you're figuring out like what your life path is, and love is definitely an element of that. Like, what do you love? What do you see in yourself? The Queen of Cups is such a loving, feeling, emoting kind of card. It makes sense that love is the answer this week, whatever that means. Like whether you're feeling super romantic or magical or not, just starting from a place of how can love lead you through life, how can love be your compass? And uh, the two of cups is so much about balance um and thinking about how you balance yourself, your relationships with yourself and your relationships with others and what keeps a harmonious balance in your life. It's a very sweet message for this week. What are your thoughts about it?
SPEAKER_01:I feel that way as well. It's sweet and it makes you do a double take when it comes to who you love, why you love them. It's one of the very like purest, I think, love cards, but in the guidance section, when I say love, like I'm I'm really talking about love in so many different forms. And those are extremely strong bonds, like love with our little furry friends or feathery friends, and love with you know, our family, and love with our lovers, and love with our friends. Like I think I don't know why I'm even thinking about this, but I just remember listening to these podcasts that are about like what you know truly makes a person happy, and it's like about the connections that you have in your life, and not that we live in this day and age where we can go out and spend a lot of time with people all the time. Maybe you can, and maybe you live in a city and you're young and healthy and and rich and you can do that, but maybe you can. But um, even if you can't these we have these capabilities, and uh you know, a long distance and over the phone, and like checking in with people, and even appreciating love from a distance. So I feel like it's yeah, it's about that's the guidance is like reevaluate those love feelings, period.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, that's such good advice. And this feels like a good time for me to announce two fun passion projects that I have happening. I'm releasing two additional podcasts. Um, one is called Immaterial World with my friend Jess Richards, who's a fashion trend forecaster and stylist and um brand consultant, and we are looking at the intersections of fashion, spiritual, spirituality, wellness, and beauty, and trying to navigate them mindfully. And so that's a really fun show where we interview people in all of those worlds and how they make those connections. So that's immaterial world. And then if you just listened to our spooky stories episode, you heard me speaking with Imani Jerome, who I'm doing a new podcast with called A Most Interesting Monster, where we look at monsters in pop culture and why we love them. And we'll be talking a lot about movies and TV, but also sometimes books and other types of things.
