I'm Paulina.

And I'm Jez, and we are here for your tarot reading for the week of December 22nd, 2025. And we have love, money, and guidance for you. Let's start off with love. Ace of Pentacles. Paulina, how are you feeling?

SPEAKER_01:

So the Ace of Pentacles, I feel in general is about that disability and foundation and building something. So when it comes to love and relationships, I feel like it's a little bit of a wake-up call. Like you might just wake up and be like, whoa, um, like I really, you know, I don't know, I really love this person and I really want a future and this is real, and just you go through a little mind reevaluation because you know, shit's getting real basically. And I also feel like it's getting real, but it's not, you know, scary unless you're afraid of commitment. Um, but if you're if you if you welcome it or if you want it, that's cool. And if you don't, that's cool too. But I feel like it can help the relationship and love in general become more calmer and I guess dependable and just rooted in reality.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, for sure. This card can also be such a good omen if you wanted to move in with, you know, a friend, or if you and your partner wanted to move in or find a new place together. This is really practical steps you're taking to deepen your relationships. This is a good omen for working with friends or people you really adore, or your partner. It looks good for taking each other more seriously, like you were saying. Maybe it's having that talk about the future. Whether it's a friend you want to start a commune with or someone who you want to share your life with in a more romantic, uh, kind of traditional marriage-y kind of way. This is definitely a card for thinking about the roots and foundations of your relationships. And I think that we definitely create these moments of stability and groundedness with all the people that we care a lot about. It just looks different across the board. And so this might even be setting up a weekly coffee date with a friend to catch up. It's like a routine that you set that's good for both of you, uh, or maybe you're working out together or something like that, but invest in the health of your relationships through really practical means. So the Six of Swords is our card for money. What are your thoughts?

SPEAKER_01:

I feel like overall the gist of it is good, but I really don't feel good about the fact, right? Like it feels like it sucks, but it's good. And yeah, exactly. Like you have to move out of just a certain situation or even a mindset, but it is about transition, moving on, new routine, and letting go. So when it comes to money, it's interesting to me. Sometimes I feel like it is about letting go of one dream, one thought, one position, one side hustle, one this, one that in order to pursue something else, or it's just about letting it go in order to relax and chill out and be stable and whatever. So it it's hard because I think letting go is hard in general and changing your routine is difficult. But if you figure out what it is that needs to be sacrificed, like it's all gonna work out.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, and I think even in really practical terms, the Six of Swords is a card of travel and journeys. And if you celebrate Christmas or adjacent holidays, you might be doing a lot of travel this week and you might be putting your money there. So if you feel like you want to see your family or your friends or your chosen family or your favorite cat at the zoo or something, maybe it's worth spending a little money on travel. Maybe you want to take yourself on a vacation, you're not spending time with your people, you're going on an adventure. If you have the means, it seems like this is a great time to do it. And if you need to travel but you don't have the means, there might be an opportunity to do it on the cheap and cheerful and think about how you can get to where you need to go, either literally or metaphorically. If you have a little bit of a journey or a destination in mind with your business, your career, your money goals, like your job doesn't have to be your dream or your vocation. But uh if you have some sort of trajectory there, either in the most practical sense or the most fantastical sense, this is a time for you to plan for that journey. Then we have the tower for our overall guidance. I secretly love the tower card, even though a lot of people cringe when they see it. What do you think the tower is telling us to do this week?

SPEAKER_01:

I feel like the tower. Oh my god, I'm so exhausted even just thinking about it, I guess.

SPEAKER_00:

The tower is telling us to burn it all down.

SPEAKER_01:

Literally, it's you have to strip everything away. Yeah, sometimes you do. And I also feel like it's a coming to light kind of cartoon. Like, no illusions, no pretending, no caring what isn't yours anymore, and no, like I guess I don't know the word I'm looking for, but like judgment either from the outside world or the inside world. Like you can't judge what's truly 100% like real and true. Like we're gonna judge a tree. Like, no, like you have to be that real and raw, and it's tough, and it's gonna be tough. So when it comes to guidance, I mean, I don't even know what the guidance is, like let it burn, I guess.

SPEAKER_00:

Kind of, yeah. And let it burn doesn't have to be destructive or self-destructive. Some things you might be letting go of might be preconceived notions about your limitations or harmful thought patterns you had. Like you might be ready to be like, actually, everything my mom or dad or mean teacher or cousin or whoever playground bully told me is bullshit. And I've been letting it shape my world and it shouldn't. And so I'm going to change this. And it feels crazy and dramatic to suddenly, you know, believe that I'm worthy or believe that I'm capable, but I'm going to do it. So sometimes the tower can be deeply liberating that way. And other times, you know, maybe the six of swords, like you were saying, Paulina, there are things that you need to move away from or let go of. The tower definitely is like, do you want me to light the match? Do you I can light the match? Let's set it on fire. Yeah. And so there is a kind of helpful chaos about the tower. And, you know, if you are celebrating um the major December holidays, uh, it might feel a little messy for you. Having your boundaries might feel a little scary around family or work. And you might have a little bit of a like, I can't do this anymore. I'm just going to say no, like, come hell or high water, come what may. And the tower helps you do that. And sometimes that's exactly what you need to do. Because the tower creates this has this destruction that gives way for creation. Like it's the blank slate that you need, or it's the controlled burning that makes the ground more fertile afterwards. It's the destruction that begets creation. Yeah, I like that. Yeah, so the tower, you know, she's messy, but we love her.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, 100%. It's very like chaotic, but in a way that means no more chaos after this.

SPEAKER_00:

Yeah, she's gonna leave her purse in the Uber, but afterwards, someone's gonna return it to her, and maybe she meets the love of her life. That's the tower. Exactly.
