SPEAKER_00And I'm Jez. And we're here for your tarot reading for the week of January 19th, 2026. We have the Seven of Swords for Love, the Queen of Cups for Money, and the Tower for Our Guidance. How do you feel about the Seven of Swords for Love, Paulina?
SPEAKER_01Um, if I could get my mind off of the Tower for Guidance, I could tell you. Okay, so Seven of Swords, man. I thought last week was challenging, but this week is hella challenging.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, this keyword for real. Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_01I hate for this to come up in love, but it comes up because obviously there's a message in it. And even though it can be hard or triggering, I know I feel that way. Um I still have to tell you guys, like Seven of Swords does represent some kind of sneaking around, maybe not really doing things or even having the best intentions. And this comes up in our love section. So maybe there is someone that you love. It doesn't always have to be in a relationship, but if you start to feel like triggered and weird, or your gut tells you something in your relationship, then you probably have to follow it. Yeah. What do you think?
Self-Honesty And Red Flags
Queen Of Cups Money Energy
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I mean, it's definitely traditionally the card of betrayal, which is an interesting card because self-betrayal is also a part of that. It's very much like if it feels like it's off, you're right. Like you should listen to your gut. This isn't the time to be, you know, jumping to conclusions or anything like that. This is if you really do have your little spidey senses or your intuition being triggered or things just aren't adding up. And sometimes it's not as deep as cheating, although it can be that. I don't know if you can hear Lily coughing and also me coughing, but um, it doesn't have to be as deep as cheating, although it can be that. But it can sometimes even just be like the people you love are just not following through on what they say they're gonna do, or maybe they're even deluding themselves about what's possible or what their capacity is, or because this can apply to you know us as well. Are you being totally honest with yourself about how you feel or what you can and can't do, or what your intentions are? Self-honesty is a really good place to start. It can be uncomfortable sometimes because sometimes we wish we felt differently, but you gotta be honest with yourself. And if things feel off with other people, you know, bring it up, confront it, and get to the bottom of it. Yes. Then we have the Queen of Cups for money. What are your thoughts there?
SPEAKER_01Um, we need something to be happy about.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, the universe to us a little bone.
SPEAKER_01So the universe is like okay, everything else looks a little rocky and scary. So I'm gonna back you up with some good finances right now. So I feel like the Queen of Cups is telling you money is coming in your direction, opportunity is coming in your direction, and it is water focused, so it's about going with the flow, trusting the process again, and allowing this money flow to come in. Money is an energy, and my art, I don't know what your family said about that, but my mom always said that she was like, Money is an energy, never throw away a penny. That's what my grandmothers would say. My grandfather never throw away anything, never do this, never do that. Like everything is so important, and I feel like money is also that energy, and so yeah, respect it.
Money Magic And Practical Steps
Tower As Guidance And Letting Go
SPEAKER_00I totally agree. This might be a good week to do a little bit of money magic. We just had the new moon in Capricorn, which is why um, you know, we did the ritual the day before that this comes out on the 18th. And so maybe you want to use that new moon energy in Capricorn, which is such a practical sign that often is connected to abundance, and just try to make some money magic happen, whether you're lighting a candle with intention or you're being intuitive about the stock market, or whatever you do, money magic-wise, making a little dollar charm, or putting some uh cinnamon oil on your doorknobs, or whatever you do. Um, this is a good time to call in the money magically and then take action practically. Then the tower as our overall guidance. What are your thoughts here?
SPEAKER_01I feel like it's very important to understand that the universe, I feel, is trying to tell you that all the times that you were practicing letting go of attachments just over the past couple of weeks, and those themes are really coming to light because now you don't have a choice. Like you're gonna have to let go of certain things, and old foundations are crumbling, and things that were built when you felt like just unstable or unsure. Um, that was for a reason. The universe has to put you on the right path, whether you like it or not. So I think you're just in for a little awakening, I would say.

SPEAKER_00100% agree. So interesting because we were just saying before we were recording that you know, we record leads ahead of time and then we release them, you know. Usually we do a month ahead of time, and when we listen to them in real time, we're like, oh my god, it fits. Like, at least for us. And uh, and listeners have been, you know, telling us that too. But I'm curious about what the tower is going to bring. But I think you're absolutely right that the last few weeks of readings have been asking us to practice letting go, and this is probably the week where it's like, okay, this is why I needed to wrap my head around that because the tower reminds me of that advice that when you're falling, you should relax your body and just go with it, and you're less likely to hurt yourself. And so if you feel like you know the ground is slipping out from under you, just try to relax and go with it and trust that whatever needs to fall is falling for a reason, and you'll be better on the other side of it, and you can rebuild something sturdier, better suited to what you need and who you are right now.
