Church Anniversary: Our Story Is Still Being Written (Isaiah 43:18-19)

As we celebrate 181 years of God’s faithfulness at EBC, Joel reminds us that the church is not a museum celebrating what God used to do — it is a living story that God is still writing. Looking at Isaiah 43:18-19, we discover God’s promise: “See, I am doing a new thing!” Even when life feels like a wilderness, God is able to make a way, bring hope, and lead us into a future we cannot yet see.

Whatever your story has been so far, God is not finished. The next chapter may be the most exciting one yet.
