Show Notes

The Local Lens is a public health podcast going inside one community's experience with the drug epidemic. Everyone in the town of Stanton, KY sees this drug issue differently from each other, either because of their personal lives or professional roles. This show aims to showcase those different perspectives by having honest, in-depth interviews.

The police have a role to play in this drug epidemic. Lt. Jimmy Daniels tells us in this episode that policing cannot be the only thing done to curb the overdoses, but it is an important part. If you've heard many of our past episodes, you know that run-ins with the police lead a lot of people to recovery. Our guest this week brings 18 years of policing experience to our show. We aren't focusing much on any of the heart or theory behind what happens, we are simply talking about what actually happens.

These are our people, using our voices, telling our stories, because no one sees it like we do.
