Ronna Donithan and Joshua Jones - A Family Story
Show Notes

The Local Lens is a public health podcast going inside one community's experience with the drug epidemic. Everyone in the town of Stanton, KY sees this drug issue differently from each other, either because of their personal lives or professional roles. This show aims to showcase those different perspectives through having honest, in-depth interviews with a new guest each episode.

This episode explores the family dynamic, featuring a nephew and his aunt. The nephew, Joshua Jones, had been addicted to substances for all of his adult life until his aunt, Ronna Donithan, steps in. Now that we are years after he began the recovery process, the two are able to look back on their story. They have an idea about what worked for them, and what ultimately saved Joshua's life.

Alongside our host, Nate Brooks, the two bravely and bluntly address their past, offering insights to anyone who may be in a similar situation.

These are our people, using our voices, telling our stories, because no one sees it like we do.
