Harm Reduction Roundtable - Stacy Crase and LeAndre Knox
Show Notes

The Local Lens is a public health podcast going inside one community's experience with the drug epidemic. Everyone in the town of Stanton, KY sees this drug issue differently from each other, either because of their personal lives or professional roles. This show aims to showcase those different perspectives by having honest, in-depth interviews.

To kick off the second season, the team of early supporters of the show got together to talk about why we're doing this in the first place.

Stacy Crase, director of the Powell County Health Department, launched the Powell County C.A.R.E.S. project, which led to the creation of The Local Lens. LeAndre Knox, director of KRHIO's Kentucky Opioid Community Healing project, came on board just before the first episode was released to show support and distribute the show to a wider audience.

In this episode, we discuss why the three of us believe this is worth the effort and how it plays a part in the entire harm reduction movement.

These are our people, using our voices, telling our stories, because no one sees it like we do.

Mentioned episodes:
Stacy Crase and Ian Morton
Ronna Donithan and Joshua Jones
