Dr. Ortwin Lüers is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist based in Berlin, specializing in the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder and chronic stress disorders in both clinical and outpatient environments. His interest in Eastern martial arts, meditation, and Buddhism began early in life, and since the 1980s, he has devoted himself to intensive study and practice of Buddhism.

In 1985, Ortwin was first introduced to the internal styles of the Southern Shaolin tradition—including Wu Ji Quan Energetics, Nei Gong, and Qi Gong—through a Western student of Grandmaster Chee Kim Thong. Four years later, in 1989, he met Grandmaster Chee in person, who accepted him as a disciple. Until Master Chee’s passing in 2001, Ortwin had the rare opportunity to train and study closely with a select group of German and Swiss students in intensive training camps, benefiting from the direct, personal guidance of this distinguished master.
