Sanjay is co-founder of Banka BioLoo. Banka BioLoo is a biotechnology-based, affordable, onsite sanitation system that is widely used in train toilets, construction sites, schools and many other places. Its clients include Indian Railways, L&T, Shapoorji Pallonji and Government of Telangana.
Sanjay started his career as a research analyst with Reuters and Global Data. While he had a full-time day job, he supported his wife Namita’s sanitation start-up in the evenings and on weekends. After a couple of years of managing two shifts, Sanjay quit his day job and became a full-time founder. He then led the company to its IPO and in 2018, Banka BioLoo got listed on SME stock exchange.
