Painting with Tears 

In the canvas of my heart, I paint for you,

Daddy, you are colour of my love, so deep and true.

A brush dipped in hope, in the softest yellow,

Blending with orange, tender and mellow.

Sparkles of joy I sprinkle with care...

But in each stroke, a hidden despair.

In each shadow, I feel your miss,

A darkness so deep, like a silent kiss

I close my eyes, think of the sea,

Where blues merge with tears on my face.

Sadness, like waves, crashing unseen,

In the heart of the ocean, where you've been.

There you are, Daddy, in every hue,

Guiding me, loving me, as you used to do.

Our laughter and tears, a palette so bright,

In this painting of ours, you're the light.

I hear your voice, soft and low,

In my dreams, where I silently go.

As another year starts, my heart still seeks,

in every sunrise, in the morning dew.

I long for your arms, your comforting grace,

In this world, Daddy, you're always here.

A whisper in the wind, a tear escapes,

In your absence, Daddy, my heart reshapes.

I dream of your laughter, echoing clear

,In the silence of night, I feel you near.

This portrait of love, with each tear that falls,

Walking with you, Daddy, as I grow. 

Starting anew, with hope's bright flame,

In my heart, Daddy, you remain the same.

In this painting, with hope's gentle light,

I find you, Daddy, in the darkest night.
