Today, we dive back into Thomas Paine's Common Sense and take a look at the next two sections of his historic publication. The first section deals with his disdain for hereditary titles and the failings of the British system. The second section makes several very good arguments for why America should break away from England. Also, I just learned that it is disdain, not distain, and that I have been using that word incorrectly for my entire life. Something new every day.
