BACK2THEGARDEN formally known as d.rekhall is based out of Phoenix, Arizona. Music has been pivotal and a part of his faith filled journey since 2007. He’s had the privilege to walk in his purpose as a producer, songwriter, and performer.
Most recently, BACK2THEGARDEN has challenged himself by stepping out of his comfort zone. He has started learning the piano, serving on his worship team, and participated in a musical based on the Book of Ruth. As an artist, the goal BACK2THEGARDEN is working towards is to create music that is intimate, fresh, and stretches innovation.
At the very heart of BACK2THEGARDEN’s music is to invite every listener back to the garden (Eden) where God him self dwelled. Adam and Eve knew that when they heard the LORD coming, He would want to be with them. This was how the LORD had fellowship with Adam and Eve, in a very natural, close, intimate way.
You can hear this in his album ‘Beautiful Mess’ released in 2015 that features Jordan Lucio, J-DariusCalvin Harris and SonDaye. Since then BACK2THEGARDEN has released singles such ‘Flowers or Weeds’, ‘Adios’, and ‘Try again’
BACK2THEGARDEN hopes to invite every listener to back into Gods Presence (Eden) on his 2 upcoming album titled ‘Clarity’ releasing in January 2023. Stay on the lookout!
