THE GREAT OUTDOORS: Youth/Mentor hunt set Oct. 25
Pipestone County Pheasants Forever chapter will present its 17th annual youth/mentor hunt on Saturday, Oct. 25. The hunt will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The event offers youth ages 11-17 the opportunity to learn safe hunting practices and gain hands-on experience in the field while preserving Minnesota’s hunting heritage. Participants will meet at 9 a.m. at Luann’s Gas & More — followed by a gun safety presentation and trap shooting at 9:30 at an acreage west of Pipestone near State Highway 30.
