HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING: MatBoss Christmas Tournament this weekend
ROCHESTER — Roughly 20 defending state champions, including Class A titleholder Miklo Hernandez of Pipestone Area Schools, will compete in the MatBoss Christmas Tournament Friday and Saturday, Dec. 19-20. This intense, individual bracketed tournament will feature 49 high schools across Minnesota, South Dakota, North Dakota and Wisconsin. The historic Mayo Civic Center will serve as the site of the event. Young reported Friday’s matches will begin at noon, with Saturday’s bouts starting at 10 a.m. Finals will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday.
