ELKTON, S.D. — The annual Elkton Harvest Festival begins with the gala and pageant set for Thursday, July 16. This scholarship-based pageant, “The Under the Sea” gala, will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Elkton School North Gymnasium. Queen contestants are Kadence Olberding, Claire McMahon, Madelyn Jensen and Evelyn Foss. Little Miss contestants are Abigail Schuurman and Riley McLaughlin. Mr. Elkton will be voted on during the harvest festival during Family Fun Day on Sunday, July 19. Tickets cost per person or 5 for a reserved table of eight people.
