The Pipestone County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) Board of Supervisors during its July 9 meeting approved eight grant contracts totaling 1,730 to help Pipestone County farmers purchase soil health equipment. It was the first time the SWCD has offered such grants. SWCD Board members voted during their April meeting to offer the grants using 0,000 in project fund dollars from the state.
