Basking in the afterglow the October 7th release of their debut album, "Winnie", singers and songwriters, Jennifer Elizabeth Ashley and Joel Simpson, more commonly known as Ashley & Simpson, make their inaugural appearance in the Windy City Irish Radio studios to perform original songs from their new album as well as covers from Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, Michael Jackson (in celebration of Mike Shevlin and Linda Bryan Shevlin's 20th wedding anniversary), and a tribute to the late Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers plus music from the Tannahill Weavers ahead of their performance at the Old Town School of Folk Music and Sharon Shannon ahead of her appearance on next week's show and her performance at City Winery Chicago.
