A question I asked myself before I became a mom was "Can I really have it all?" ... I had two dreams: being a mom, and the ambition of improving economic mobility for women worldwide.
My daughter turned four a couple of days ago, on International Women's Day, and I thought this week would be the perfect tribute to address the "motherhood penalty" and how I have navigated the dance in my own life between raising a tiny human, while also building my business and pursuing my dreams outside of motherhood.
In this episode, I share 7 key lessons I have learned over the past few years. These lessons have enabled me to be both a present, playful, active mom in my daughter's life, while also building a profitable business that supports my family.... without the burnout, overwhelming mom guilt, and destruction of my own sanity.
It has not always been easy, and it has NEVER looked perfect. However, in my heart of hearts I do believe that it is possible to have it all, whatever "it all" looks like for you. Even if you reading this right now has you rolling your eyes, because it feels SO FAR from your reality. Hang in there, mama. You've got this!
