In honour of Mothers Day I had this powerful, intimate conversation with Isabel (Bella) Krutik, a Pleasure and Embodiment Coach who helps mothers reconnect to the parts of themselves they’ve had to numb, quiet, or shelve in the name of motherhood and responsibility.

Her work is about reconnecting mothers with their innate aliveness and pleasure - in motherhood and beyond. She believes that when women access their innate pleasure, they are more fulfilled, energized, and in tune with themselves and the world.

In this episode we discuss:

  • Why so many mothers feel disconnected from their pleasure and identity
  • What pleasure actually looks like in real life amidst the demands of motherhood
  • Practical ways to expand your capacity without adding more to your plate
  • Practices for slowly reconnecting to your body with gentleness and curiosity
  • The grief and beauty of becoming more than “just” a mother
  • Relationship shifts, societal expectations and embracing presence
  • Why this work is KEY to truly enjoying life and shifting away from the sometimes anxious, stressful, monotonous day to day experience of modern life
