We have the top pools this week because it is new comic book day. And we're gonna talk about the new Loki coming out today. pretty freakin awesome. We're talking about spawn, and then we're going to be talking about Cowboy Bebop. So this is gonna be a really cool day to day. So let's start with the top pools this week. So today's obviously, new comic book day happens every Wednesday of every week. So I'm going to post like the top picks for tomorrow. So the top picks it would be at first number one's going to be a trade paperback named Black Cat volume four queen in black. Then we're gonna have DC pride number one because that's definitely brand new. Heroes Reborn Night Qwen, number one. And then we also have another trade paperback, invisible Kingdom volume three. Then we have a new comic book called The six side kicks of trigger Keaton, which I'm kind of interested in this one. It's the first one that came out today. And then we have for last but not least, we have x-men issue number 21. They um they undead him so he's, he's out in the world now so who knows why but I'm kind of hoping the number one first episode will cover that. So to catch up on Loki, I got a list of con books to read for you guys so you can brush up on them. So I know Loki in the MCU is a little different than what comics everybodies. He's like blown away because he's gender fluid. He can be a female or a male. So it whatever he decides. And yeah, I

I kind of already knew about that but I was like okay, well you know, why is this you know, I didn't think it was a big deal cuz I was big into comics anyways. And so I'm like okay, well you know let's put a list out there so people will get to know who Loki really is. So you know we have our number one we have Loki the God who fell on Earth. Loki is Earth mightiest hero after dying a grisly death in war of the realms. The reborn trickster learned a valuable lesson in warmongering. Don't get caught. Then we have Dr. Strange by Donnie Cates. What he's actually done in case has actually taken taken over that was in the midst of the Incredible Hulk was in November so that was actually keep like, no issue number 50 I think is what it is. But we have Dr. Strange but Donnie Cates god of magic. So evil is everywhere, and the world needs a sorcerer supreme more than ever. But the Sorcerer Supreme is now Loki. Say hello to the master mischief arts. The Norse Lord of lies had the cloak the spells he's even got Zelma Stanton as his assistant. Bom bom, bom. Then we have Vote Loki Loki is many things God trickster brother, son, villain, even hero. Now he wants to add one more time to the list. President of the United States. That's right, that God of lies wants to be the ruler of the free world. But is this just another scheme? And then we have King Thor. So one last ride with the almighty lord of as God Jason Aaron reunites with Assad ribbeck I hope I said that right to conclude the epic saga, they begin in Thor god of thunder. Seven years ago, Aaron and Rubik introduced the Thor of the far future all father of a broken realm and a dying universe. As he stood in battle against Gore, the butcher of God's welder of all black the neck nicaro sword, but now that fers blade has returned in the hands of Thor's all time greatest enemy is adopted brother Loki then we also last but not least, we have acts of vengeance Marvel universe so look these villainous scheme play out across the Marvel universe as an array of heroes face unfamiliar enemies So yeah, that's something that I kind of like that's the list of basic comic books about Loki to kind of brush up of who he really is and what he's about and how powerful he is and he's also gender fluid so

I these are way before I think the new one there was actually what was I think that Loki that God who fell on earth I think that's the newest one I could be wrong okay, I didn't take a look at the dates or anything like that but these are the books that actually like to really get to know there's there's many more there's a ton more I'm pretty sure if you just pick up a Loki comic book and start reading it then you know you'll go through see who Loki is about and basically what's his powers are and a whole bunch of other stuff so definitely something to check out. I'm excited for this Loki Disney plus series to come out so I'm gonna watch that definitely tomorrow.

exactly so let's move on to spawn I'm excited for this one man so spawn universe number one is a one shot comic book I think we talked about this like a few episodes back there's one shot comic book already has over 200,000 pre orders are making this comic images best selling comic of the century. Oh, images century that's this is like the best one parently so what does that mean to spawn fans? Well, we will have new spawn variants and new spawn villains with King spawn gunslinger spawn and scorch. So that's that's really cool. But, and also spawn universe number one will hit comic book stores on August 11 of This year. So that's something to look forward to if you are definitely a spawn fan, but if you are a comic book investor, what does this mean? I think we started to pick this up about investing about comics since hell Joey left. So we're now we're gonna be talking about like investing and all that stuff in comic books. So this is my speculation on what's going to happen with spawn number one. Right? So my speculation is, since this comics has reached over 200,000, pre orders, that's not even close to meant totals gonna be out, right, they're gonna be a ton out. So image will meet demand. That is the thing right now, this this time in this century of comic books, I mean, they're gonna meet the demands of the comic book. That's, that's for sure. Right. But with already 200,000 probably look at this going probably like 400 to 500,000 comic books out there. Now, if you are going to invest in this particular comic book, I would get exclusive comic book covers or virgin variants that will hopefully reach ROE, return of equity with x many years. So this is not going to be a quick flip. With that said, I would not buy this comic for investment purposes at all. But as a collector out get it since spawn has had a number one since 1992. When the first when the first Spawn came out,

yeah, so like he said that it's gonna probably be if they get 200,000, they probably will double a triple that. Yes. So let's click Yeah, price 600,000 issues will be out there. Yeah.

And it's not including what the comic stores are actually going to put out with that said, I wouldn't buy this comic for investment purposes. But as a collector, I would definitely get it. I mean, it hasn't been a number one number one since 1992. So this is something to pick up. If you are a collector, and you actually enjoy reading spawn comic book, pick this up. But I would not pick this up if you're looking for investment, unless it is an exclusive comic cover or virgin variant. Otherwise, I would not pick this up for investment purposes. So because usually with exclusive comic covers, they have like, a certain amount, they don't have like a huge, you know, it's a different cover different and they have like that, just that one particular book for that comic book, right? They usually hire you know big artists, they actually do the artists respond. And they can flip pretty fucking good. To be honest. That's where I usually get my stuff exclusive as exclusive variant covers is like where I usually go after but or virgin variant those only two that I would actually go for for investment purposes, I would not go to just get this number one from the comic bookstore or whatever a pre order and expect it will reach like $100,000 or even 100 bucks. I don't see the original ones going up to like looking at most maybe 20 but that's even not us even like being little liberal with that one.

So well. Netflix is coming out with a live action Cowboy Bebop, and I was worried at first when I first read it. Read about this because I'm not a fan with live action anime. I've never had anything. I never watched anything good with live action. But this one I'm actually kind of hopeful for because fans are apparently excited with john chose character accurate hair.

just like spikes. And that's exactly who's gonna play to spike. He's a john Chow. And if you guys don't know who john Chow is what? And you probably recognize him from Harold and Kumar go to White Castle and he also played Sulu in Star Trek. So Google that for a minute, and they'd be like, Oh, that's where I am. Okay. Cowboy Bebop is apparently one of the most popular anime that has been developed. I mean, that's one of my first ones. I remember watching Dragonball Z and then rafter dragon was he was he loved Cowboy Bebop or muscular man or some other animals? What I can't remember right now.
