Episode 25 features Coach Chris Beaudry. He is a former assistant coach for the Humboldt Broncos. He experienced one of the most tragic days of hockey history as a coach. His story is so unique and inspiring. This is one of the most powerful conversations we’ve ever had on this podcast about personal leadership and mental health for any person out there. It was a discussion we had in our “Coffee with Coaches” series, when the pandemic first began. This being the 3 year anniversary of the Humboldt Broncos tragedy, we felt it was another opportunity to share the wisdom of a coach who had found a way to climb out of a terrible emotional hole in more ways than one.
