Cars and motorbikes have forever been a key part of rock’n’roll songs and lifestyle.
In the Western world, kids had cars, sometimes borrowed from their parents but increasingly their own. Cars offered status, escape from daily life, and, of course, a means to sex!! When you’re in your car, you want to hear songs about cars and driving, and rock'n'roll was happy to deliver.
