Mick and the PhatMan Talking Music
Join Mick and Jeff as they talk about artists, albums and music genres with passion that comes from personal connection. They’ve seen artists in concert at venues that don’t even exist today, bought albums when they were released on vinyl and, in some cases, met the artists.
Sometimes they love the artist or music they're talking about. Sometimes they don’t. But, without fail, you'll always hear something you didn’t know.

Alice Cooper - The Band and the Man

Alice Cooper - a story of intrigue, drugs and great stage shows. While influencing The Sex Pistols, Kiss, Bowie, the movie, “A Clockwork Orange” and Australia’s Jimmy and the Boys, Alice Cooper morphed from a band to an individual, and left an enormous legacy in today’s rock world.
This week’s “Before You Die” album is Marc Bolan’s “Electric Warrior”, which didn’t impress the boys at all, despite Bolan’s reputation, some great singles and production by Tony Visconti.
