009 Safiya Ibn Garba: Founder of the Empowering Women for Excellence Initiative (EWEI) in Nigeria and she is the Director of Institutional Learning at Generations for Peace in Amman, Jordan. Safiya is a dedicated change agent who leads multiple programmes that empower women and youth to cultivate tolerance and citizenship in communities experiencing conflict and gender discrimination.
