In this episode Scott Lynch (Managing Director of Community Therapy) and Cheryl Pollock, (Founder of ChezLeon).

Scott is Chair of the Australian Physiotherapy Association’s NSW Gerontology Committee and Managing Director of Community Therapy; a company he started 5 years ago that has grown to a team of 70 Physios, OTs, Dietitians, Speech Pathologists and Massage Therapists. Community Therapy delivers values-driven community, aged and disability allied health services across the Hunter and Central Coast regions of NSW.

Cheryl Pollock is a startup entrepreneur, founder and CEO of ChezLeon Pty Ltd.  

ChezLeon is an Australian based company that designs and manufacturers passive massage inserts and garments to assist in moving fluid around blockages, breaking down scar tissue and relieving pain.

After surviving a cancer scare Cheryl was left with a lifelong condition called Lymphoedema, a result of the cancer treatment.  Cheryl tried everything to relieve the pain & swelling she was experiencing finding that current treatments were unsatisfactory for her causing more issues. 

Having a background in mechanical engineering and building construction as well as having studied remedial & lymphatic drainage massage, Cheryl put on her engineering hat and came up with an effective solution.

Cheryl now has 19 patents & design registrations worldwide & TGA approval with future designs for other applications including sportswear ready for release in 2023.
