The Writing's on the Wall

This poem was inspired by a visit to Freedom Park in Pretoria right before our Mama Afrika event in April where I recited this poem live. 
I saw and learned many things about our history at Freedom Park, and each word and line in this poem is inspired by what I saw, felt, and experienced. 
In writing this, I hope to keep our history and stories alive as Africans.
