here as one of your companions timmy flurred did not have his correct paperwork and was

quickly dragged off of the ship and arrested after you guys saw this you had decided

that you guys immediately needed to go and try and get your correct bodies back so hunting down a possible lead in

a magic user named zeta um you guys were able to track down a temple of zakrio

where quickly a lot of different things happened uh shreya was letting loose

firebolts there was a funeral going on a lot of stuff was happening all at once um but

eventually you guys were led into a um back office

where you guys were um greeted by a uh the the lead cleric of this temple of

zachariel fondir linvakote um a dwarven man who was flipping through his book

and found the name zeta for you guys although she is not a member of the temple of zachariah she is a member of

the temple of laytiel calek you remembering back to um the time where that you spent in the

temple of laytiel where would you guys like to begin as you guys are in the uh

the back room oma and kalec what are you guys what are you guys up to what are you guys doing um

a fun fandiar do you know which temple we could find her at i know the temple of la tale but i'm i'm

getting the impression that there are a lot of temples here oh yes there are a lot um let me see and he sort of runs

his fingers over his notes um and uh he says ah here it is so it's a

temple um that's a little bit in the northern part of the city um

it's it's gonna be a little bit of a walk but you're definitely gonna be able to to make it there um if you'd like

it's uh and he sort of um motions his hand it's sort of around the uh

the the royal district in the center of the city i'll open up the map i have can

you just point it out on this map perfect um it's it's right here it's it's exactly right here and uh he points

down on the map and you can see um there is sort of uh this area this this northern

ward of the city right past the royal center of the city um that you guys are

currently on the opposite end of um and there is a temple of leytel right there that's so helpful thank you

here something that troubled me about all this um switching of

bodies and whatnot why would it be that you can recognize me but

right um we all have a bit of a baptism that we have to

form simply has not been exposed to things of that sort i lift up my very healthy

we went around the corner in the in the time just i didn't want to go too far from the temple but as i'm

with uh shraya i'm holding on um could i have walked maybe down a few alleyways just like taking a peek around

the city see what i could see maybe looking for symbols um

you know just like for five ten minutes while i'm waiting for them to talk and then i'll make my way back um but yeah

i'll be looking around for anything make a perception check for me okay

and that's still a disadvantage yes unfortunately

okay um nine and nine yeah you you don't see any sort

of symbology that you're looking for um you sort of you lead shraya around

the corner and you can see a street um that is uh just a lot of like food

stalls on either side all of them have these um canopies that have been set up

over them so the rain and the weather doesn't actually get to uh any of the food beneath and

um as you're looking it's it's a pretty busy street but you notice a little bit of a commotion

starting up on on a fruit stand up and to your right um there seems to be some sort of

scuffle happening look to try on

we probably shouldn't right maybe maybe i can help and maybe i can talk some sense uh

into the people cause i'm a person now yeah i kind of wanted to but i can be a

person a regular normal person oh this is a bad idea and i lead her

in them to the crowd to get a better look okay

um as you approach um there seems to be at the center of this scuffle

it seems to be one one person who is sort of attacking

another person and you can hear these um these shouts going back and forth both of them

dwarven and um as one of the men lunges forward and tries to grab for the other man the other man puts his hands up and

says i swear i didn't steal anything i swear i didn't even have my hand close to your stand and the other one grabs

him by the lapel and says you put it back i swear i will call the guard on

you and he and the other one goes no no i swear look check my pockets i don't have anything and at this point you see

um six dwarven guards all in full plate armor swords and shields at the ready come up

and knock both of them down to the ground they both lay flat out onto their backs

completely stunned by what's happened both of them are helped up by all of the

the guards and both of them forcefully have their hands put behind their backs and shackled as they are taken away as

quickly as the guards showed up

and just like that the street goes back to being a a quiet

while still busting wait no no one was watching that happen there wasn't like a groud a group of people like watching

there was as soon as the guard showed up everyone backed away i i'm gonna run into where the people just

were i'm gonna say nothing to see here all normal go back to what you were

doing and everyone does that's right i think they're already doing that yeah they are because i said so good job and

i'm remembering that it's a child good job little one um come on we gotta go back

meeting with captain mccready and holiday just outside of the temple

once again you guys continue on you guys walk through the city and you sort of know the general direction that

you're supposed to go so you can sort of figure your path as most of the streets here are very large and pretty easy to

navigate um it quickly becomes sort of claustrophobic

as you have this ceiling of clouds above you with this torrential downpour of

rain and the the stone buildings on either side just seem unmoving and unwavering as you guys

almost feel like you're you're being crushed within this city you guys continue on and as you guys

have to um circumvent the royal capital of the capital city um

you guys sort of have to make a left turn and and go all the way around

as you do you notice massive statues

four repeating statues as there goes one another

another another and then it repeats back to the first one and the second one and the third one

um as we're walking um and i'm holding sharya's hand i'll kind of uh just look

to try and whisper um how are you doing

and as i look up to the tall walls closing us in normally this is something that bothers

you i'm curious if it still does when you're well like this i i um

yeah i i'm not feeling it usually those kinds of

uh nerves nervousness nerve they actually come from my nerves in in my body i'm

not i'm not feeling anything like that right now this is actually kind of kind of cool so that's why my goat is a nuts

i i'm just like looking around like my eyes are just darting from place to place and uh my brow is froze

smallest nook i can find and try to like crawl into it all right

all right um as you guys continue on with these stone

statues all around you um you can pick out some of the some of the

details on them um you can see all of them are of

dwarves and they all sort of have a similar style to them um and

who can anyone here read dwarvish i know flynn can yeah i can

um flynn the first statue that you guys pass um

is of a uh a youngish dwarvish man um

he wears sort of like a a gold band around his forehead

his shoulders are broad and have these heavy

heavy uh sets of armor on both of them that come down to his arms

and into some heavy uh gauntlets you can see his beard is thick and has a

couple of braids keeping it together on a little plaque

just below where uh where he is standing it says

prince thogan nightcrest his royal highness thogen

valachsen duke of houndmere and knight of tenderfell

okay you come across another one this one of a similarly aged dwarf um

but this time female the beard much shorter and the

band around her head comes up into two spikes in the front

um almost reminiscent of horns but it's definitely a part of this this band around her

around her forehead her shoulder her shoulder

armor has these spikes growing out of it in a very intimidating fashion

you can tell she's a little bit more well armored just from this statue

her plaque reads princess jothulin nightcrest

her royal highness jothelene valak's daughter duchess of white wind

hand of sidriel and knight of solaris

the next one you come across um a much older dwarvish woman you can you can really see the deep inset

lines in her face her beard is a little bit longer um than the previous woman

she doesn't have as much armor it's it's more robes that she's wearing that uh extend down to her waist and then from

there down to her feet her plaque says queen dolostrada nightcrest

duchess of silver sleep and jewel of the seaburn isles [Music]

the last one that you come across much larger and much more grand than the others you see

an old dwarven man lines down his face as these these deep inset wrinkles uh

cross all over them you can see an eye patch that comes down and covers his left eye and a crown atop his head

you see in a very similar fashion to one of the previous dwarves huge shoulder pieces with spikes coming out of them

himself also very well armored on this plaque you say you see

king valic nightcrest duke of the great minds of caldolier

grand chief of ebongrass and arbiter of the western winds and these four statues keep repeating

along the uh the edge of this royal inner circle

[Music] as we're walking i'll just kind of like just say out to the group just like

well if uh if i've ever seen a royal family huh what are all the

organizations they took part in i guess so i mean i don't know i mean i know how to read it but i don't know how to make

sense of it all i know is that one's prince that one's the princess

armor and on his sword looking up at triad i'm coming down i say indoor version

um as you guys continue the uh the road on your left hand side

completely opens up as you can see almost as far as the eye can see

a park um you can see open grass trees um you can see where the the

buildings actually make a perimeter around this and it's it seems totally out of place for this this

really um this city made of stone to see such um natural green coming in but in

this huge park you see almost directly in the center um what appears to be

a stone building possibly another temple rising out

um you guys walk past it takes you guys a couple minutes to

actually walk past this this park is just its side if i look at the map what's this park called and and and does

it state what that building is that is a uh it is labeled as a temple

park of enduring peace that's a nice name for the park it's called enduring peace the park of

enduring peace um is it just me or does there not seem like a lot of peace in this in this year

i was kind of um it's a little ironic isn't it that's a misnomer just say the least

but maybe you name things after what you'd like them to be as opposed to what they are this place

gives me a sour taste in my mouth maybe they think that peace comes from like all this law and order but

parts of the city seem to just blend together as you guys are moving um there's really no end in sight um but

eventually you guys do uh make your way towards the temple of leytel

you guys can hear from a couple blocks away even over the sound of

rain pouring just down overhead even over the sound of the lightning and

the thunder um you guys can hear from a couple blocks away a

drum line you guys hear these these um deep uh uh

beats of the drum as you guys move towards the temple and it gets louder and louder and louder and as you get

there it seems like a just a full-on party um

you see people dancing people out in the rain dancing and moving around and having fun and singing

with each other um as you approach this temple what would you guys like to do this is very different than

your temple catholic is this a temple yes it is believe it or not it is here

yeah they're dancing yeah the no gods are full of surprises huh

tell you that this does not feel like it fits in this city

just go with it that's my advice um i'm keeping my eyes peeled for um a

check at disadvantage with the just insane amount of people packed into

this space oh that's so good you aren't even inside the building yet

and you're already having to push past people to even get to the entrance this perception yes

wearing what appears to be casual clothes there doesn't even seem to be any uniform for the people who work okay so four thieflings any of them how many

appear to be now we're down to two um are they both roughly the same age

um they are both yes they're both uh look to be like late teens early

start weaving through legs just like heading toward the nearest

like little platform that i can like climb up to and dance on top of

nice yeah i'll try and follow okay um now shraya when you uh you see a table

you hop up on top of the table you start dancing um you see at this point you are

inside of the temple you look up and you can see that the

banisters of this temple that reach high up way above you

have been converted they're almost like these these poles that run across

and each of these poles have rope that's hanging down from them some of the some of the rope is even attached

down at the bottom almost like a trapeze you can see people up there balancing

and dancing on uh on like perfectly dancing and keeping their balance on top

of these these poles um you can see people doing these elegant dances while

almost impossibly keeping their balance you see some people drop down and do these incredible acrobatics in the air

only to swing back up and land back on the poles i am gonna try and mimic what

they do letting you sit with that idea for a minute um kellik and alma

you guys uh walk up to uh kellik you walk up to

this tiefling woman first um she is a uh

her skin has a green pigmentation but her hair that goes back into a long ponytail is

like this stark white as you approach her um is she dancing

she is dancing yeah okay uh i will attempt to dance with her um i

don't know if she's doing a jig or whatnot but i'm going to sort of

shimmy my way over across the dance floor all right um and she's she sees you

coming and then she kind of locks eyes with you and she sort of changes her dance to kind of

mimic your sort of somewhat awkward dance my wings are kind of like goofy like trying to keep beat

uh as i can't really fit in this crowd

you've made your way up into the rafters um you found there was a ladder off in the corner that gets you up into the

rafters um and you could see that that's what most people were taking to get up and to get down um

and uh as you do um you uh

they're like right when you get to the top of the ladder there's a little platform that you can stand on and there is a uh there's like

a very lean half-orc woman there um who's just wearing like a a tank top and

like some some very tight pants it seems like this is some sort of acrobatic um

attire and she she just seems like ripped and lean and she's standing there and she goes

um i don't think that this is the right place for you um why don't you

just but you're already out onto the the bars by the time she can complete her sentence and you're doing flips and you

are just going crazy on the top and everyone who's up there is like completely [ __ ] i'm gonna uh

and most of the crowd down below cannot hear you just over the music and the shouting and everything um but the

people who are up in the rafters are like clapping and cheering you on uh

and in between the breaks of like where i'm like landing or have a second

between flips i'm gonna see if i can shoot like some blue-green flames out of my fingers using produce that's not can i do that

using produced flame cantrip or i don't have a produced flame oh i thought you did

oh just control the frame you can control them but not magical

ones you can only control normal flames are there any flames in the building there are not um

you notice at this point um the all of the light that's coming in from uh

in this in this like main hallway um is coming from these um

these stained glass windows and you know it's dark and gloomy outside but it seems that these that light is coming

through these stained glass windows anyways and lighting up this entire place with different colors and different shapes

wow that's pretty cool and can i do i have a better view of them since i'm up higher or they just kind of beam out

from all over the place there are there are a couple a little bit lower than you on the walls um since

you are up in the rafters and then there are a couple just like really on the ceiling way above you that you probably won't be able to reach from

here awesome uh all right and then as i

ground in front of that on the wall itself you see three levers you see the middle one

is in the down position the other two were in the up position the one that's in the down position you can just barely

see traces of charred spider bodies on the top of it

the rest of the the room is completely empty so as to say it again you you had one the one that's in the down position has charred spiders on top of it

okay and the other two are untouched or uncharged untouched and in the up position okay cool

um and it seems with the door open not stepping in yet it seems safe

from what you can tell motion the group forward don't come in but it seems like we can look there

seems to be some kind of puzzle um as they approach if they do i will point out what i've what i found and i

the stone is has been etched into the ground um it seems that there has been some weathering and wear that has gone

plant growth has come up through these cracks and disturbed a little bit of the circle itself

like a wardrobe and you can see just down and and sort of off to your right

you can see the main center platform it appears that you guys have apparated onto one of these moving and shifting
