Something Worth Thinking About is a podcast by Randy Todd that aims to distract its listeners from thinking about the trivial matters of life in order to pull them into something worth thinking about–specifically, something from the Word of God. In the spirit of Philippians 4:8-9 each episode shares a short reading from Scripture and a few words from Randy to encourage the listener both to think more deeply about life in Christ and to find ways to put Christ's life-giving teachings into practice in our daily lives. In today's podcast we explore the reality of belief and unbelief living side by side in our hearts. We believe, yet we have doubts. And we especially seem to doubt the idea that we can become and be holy in all that we do—even with the help of our God with whom all things are possible. God has called us to be holy as he is holy (1 Peter 1:13-16). Is God asking the impossible from us? Do we really believe God is setting us up for failure? Or do we believe Jesus who once said that everything is possible for the person who believes?
