Five-time JUNO winner and Order of Canada Honoree, Liona Boyd partners with long-time producer Peter Bond to record and release her 29th album titled “L.O.V.E.” along with her new single “Gracias” celebrating the romance and rhythm of Latin music.
Having lived in Mexico as a teenager and performing in south and central America, Liona indicated that she always felt a strong attraction to the catchy, sensual rhythms of Latin music.
Also in the works is an instrumental album called “Once Upon a Time” set to launch next year. To date Liona has penned two autobiographies: “No Remedy for Love” (2017) and “In My Own Key” (1998).
Currently a children’s book is set to be published in the fall titled “The Cat Who Played Guitar” a fantasy story based on her late cat Muffin who teaches himself to play guitar.
