On this BEACH CORNER show, we hear an uplifting, true story from someone who has suffered so much but has pulled through as an accomplished author and public speaker, meet Van Choat from Los Angeles. Her book "Sissy: A true Story of Sisterhood" is based on her own memoir. Born in Vietnam, she tells the story of her family caught up in the war and their survival. Van will share how she survived.
