This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the Spoons for our Canadian new wave favourites with hits such as “Nova Heart”, “Romantic Traffic”, “Old Emotions” and “Tell No Lies”.
Recently The Spoons launched their latest album “New Day New World this was their first studio project in over eight years along with a beautiful music video for the song titled “Landing Lights” paying homage to the front-line heroes of the COVID-19 pandemic. This virtual video was produced and directed by independent filmmaker, Peter Sacco. The new album available on CD and vinyl captures that signature sound of the 80’s new Spoons.
