A Canadian icon in the music industry, EUGENE SMITH, vocals, tenor guitar, harmonica, jaw harp and kalimba from the Warm Up Band returns to Wasaga Beach on Saturday, September 24th at The Beacon. Eugene has over 50 years in the business and has written over 200 original tunes. Having recorded and toured extensively with Ronnie Hawkins, he also performed with BB King, Gordon Lightfoot, Ian Tyson and James Cotton. In the sixties, he played Toronto and toured the United States as a singer with Ronnie Hawkins and the infamous 'Hawks". Eugene also shared the stage with renowned artists such as k.d. Lang, Peter Tosh, the Beach Boys, the Dave Clark Five to name a few. Eugene joins Dianna and will shares his music and info re his upcoming show at the Beacon.
