Joining Dianna this week via ZOOM on Beach Corner – Beach BOOSTER Radio is Toronto singer/songwriter and Jazz chanteuse, Samantha Clayton. She is known for her music genre in Jazz, adult contemporary and folk.
A proficient singer in English and in French, her vocals have an inclination of a Joni Mitchell, Janis Ian and Paula Cole. She is also a fitness professional fully certified through the National Pilates Certification program along with her various teachings in Pilates, Barre, HIIT and in general, movement education.
Her recent music video for “Undertow” truly showcases her Palates gracefulness and beautiful voice. “Undertow” is co-written with composer and guitar player of the Juno nominated Toronto based Soul Blues “Blackburn”, Brooke Blackburn. Dianna had the pleasure of interviewing Brooke when he performed with his brothers at the 2019 Stonebridge Wasaga Beach Blues Festival.
Currently Samantha is working on her third album that will feature a mix of original and co-written songs with Brooke Blackburn set for release in Spring 2021.
