Dianna Chycki

The 1920’s known as the “roaring twenties” or “Jazz age” was a decade of prosperity and dissipation and of Jazz bands, flappers, marathon dancers to name a few. Canada’s sweetheart of swing, Alex Pangman has reincarnated that era with her singing and fashion style.

Alex is also an advocate for organ and tissue donation having had a double-lung retransplant.

Recently she launched a heartfelt new music video of her take of Louis Armstrong’s 1936 classic composition “If We Never Meet Again”. A song she selected during the first wave of COVID-19 and recorded in isolation booths.

Every first Saturday of the month at 8:00 p.m., Alex performs an online concert with violinist, Drew Jurecka, a Grammy award nominee and guitarist, Nathan Hiltz.

Joining Dianna via ZOOM is Canada’s sweetheart of swing and Juno-award nominated singer, Alex Pangman. For more information visit alexpangman.com or her social media platforms.

Special thanks go to Eric Alper and Sandy Graham from Cashbox Canada for making this interview possible.
