He has worked with some A-list international artists such as Sinead O’Connor, Alison Moyet, Dexys Midnight Runners, Talking Heads, The Pogues, Bob Geldof, Quincy Jones, Mel Brooks, Buffy Sainte-Marie to name a few.
Chris Birkett originally from London, England, is a producer, composer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. With album sales at over 100 million copies worldwide, his music collaborations have earned four Juno Awards, a Grammy Award, a Polaris Music Prize and three International Ampex Golden Reel Awards for excellence in the music business.
His recent new single “Precious Love” was launched for Valentine’s Day to celebrate his tenth anniversary with his wife, documentary filmmaker, Joan Prowse whom he met while performing with Buffy Sainte-Marie at Toronto’s Massey Hall.
