She was raised in Oshawa, Ontario and lived in Australia for five years and now back in Toronto is pursuing a musical and acting career, singer/songwriter, Shannon Dooks just released a new single titled: “Doubts”.
The lyrics share a tipping point in a crumbling relationship. The song was penned by Toronto-based internationally-renowned songwriter, Rosanne Baker Thornley.
Premiering April 30th is her very first music video for “Doubts”. According to Shannon, some major themes will be featured such as “bubbles”, “wine” and “self-care”.
In association with “Doubts”, Shannon is planning an event “Doubts Art Project” inviting artists to listen and be inspired by the song to create visual art pieces to be auctioned early in June with proceeds going to the Children Book Centre in Canada. Apart from singing, Shannon is also a music teacher and kids hold a special place in her heart.
