Toronto singer/songwriter, Valerie Shearman just released a new single “She’s Everybody’s Daughter” from her album “Valerie Shearman”. Based on her own personal tragedy of her mother after all this time, she finally decided to lay down her burden in a song that had been written in previous years.
“Through the years I never forgot my mother that was missing then found. I couldn’t help but hear similar stories over so many times in the news. I felt I had to get her story out. I felt passionate to write a song that was deep in my soul about this terrible but true story that women go missing and the fact that sometimes never found,” said Valerie Shearman.
Valerie has performed in Wasaga Beach with several different bands, she has worked at Arc Sound Records, Q107, A&M Records and Jazz-FM and was married to the late Buzz Shearman, vocalist of the eighties rock band, MOXY. Buzz died in a motorcycle accident in 1983.
Along with her solo career, she is getting rave review with her ultimate Heart tribute band “Just Heart” and her uncanny resemblance of Ann Wilson and vocals.
Currently, Valerie is working on an upcoming reality TV show “Horse Rescue Angels” an amazing cause on saving horses from abuse and neglect.
