For the past decade, she has been captivating audiences worldwide as a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. Meredith Moon is an extraordinary talent who, despite her incredible musical achievements, rarely mentions that her father was the legendary Gordon Lightfoot.

She set out to prove herself on her own terms, one gig at a time. Hitchhiking across North America and riding the rails, she built her own network, performing in DIY spaces and connecting with fans through online forums.

 In 2022, for the first time, she publicly performed with her father, Gordon Lightfoot, opening some Canadian dates for the songwriting legend.

Her second album, Constellations, has earned her a global record deal with True North Records. The album features 10 songs that highlight Meredith’s unique voice and captivating lyrics, wrapped in a raw neo-traditional folk sound with traditional Appalachian step-rhythms and banjo.

Recently, she performed at Massey Hall in an all-star tribute to her father, Gordon Lightfoot, who passed away a year ago at the age of 84. The event featured artists such as Blue Rodeo, Tom Cochrane, Burton Cummings, Sylvia Tyson, to name a few.
