Award-winning independent soul blues artist Sandra Bouza (Pronounced Bōh-zah) is scheduled to perform at the Stonebridge Wasaga Beach Blues Festival on Friday, September 13th at 8:20 p.m. This is Sandra’s first visit to Wasaga Beach, and I am certain it won’t be her last.

Born in Toronto, Sandra has spent a significant part of her life between Canada and Spain, along with traveling to distant parts of the world. Her global perspective is evident in her song writing.

In 2019, she won the Toronto Blues Society Talent search and came second in the city’s prestigious Soul Slam. Earlier this year, Sandra performed at Massey Hall as part of the Women’s Blues Revue and was nominated for her first Maple Blues Award.

Sandra released her fourth recording and second full-length studio album titled “A Sound in The Dark”, last September. She hopes to collaborate with Spanish artists for her next album.
