Ep 21 – Agricultural and Conservation Engineering, PE Licensing, and much more with J’Que Jones, PE

Mamadou Diallo

On this episode of the Engineers Hub Podcast, Licensed Professional Engineer and Author J’Que Jones enlightens us on the Agricultural Engineering Industry and shares his journey with us, which ultimately led him to his current role as State Conservation Engineer.

During our conversation, J’Que reminds us of the importance of staying connected with the land which we rely on so heavily for food and fuel but too often take for granted or overlook. He also expounds on the role played by Agricultural and Conservation Engineers across the US in ensuring that safe and healthy environmental practices are established and followed by farmers and corporations. Finally, J’Que talks about his recently published book, Pass The PE Exam In 3 Months: Strategies & Mindset For The Non-Test Taker, which was written as a guide for anyone aspiring to eventually acquire the Professional Engineering License.

Outside of work, J’Que enjoys spending time with his family and exploring nature.
