Stick Races on the River

In this episode, I take you along on a stream day with my own kids, the kind of ordinary Tuesday outing that turned into a full afternoon of watching water move, racing sticks downstream, and arguing about which rock a stick would hit next. 

I walk through what we noticed about fast water versus still water, the picture book we read before we left, and how a completely unplanned game turned into real science thinking without me ever calling it that.
