Rosie Carter, HOPE not hate's Policy Officer, discusses the surprising outcomes of her major research into attitudes to immigration. The National Conversation on Immigration is the largest ever public engagement on immigration. Rosie interviewed 20,000 people in the last 18 months and her findings (in conjunction with Jill Rutter at British Future) mapped attitudes to migration and drilled down into the complex feelings that different people have across the UK.
